Since we opened our doors in 1969, we have been proud to take an active role in making our Tampa Bay community and our planet a better place to live. Focused mainly on print for over 42 years, we experienced many industry highs and lows. The print market has definitely slowed over the last few years with the emergence of Social Media, Internet and other online methods of communication. We had to take a hard look at our business model and ask ourselves… Are we sustainable?
Leslie Laney, a member of our team, traveled to Sweden in 2010 to take part in an exclusive Master Trainer Course focusing on the Pyramid Method with sustainability expert Alan Atkisson. This strategic planning tool forces you to look at your business in 4 distinctive categories – Nature, Economic, Well-Being & Society. In December of 2011, we decided it was time to put our own company through this process.
Using the Pyramid Method, we inspected key indicators in our business and current trends in the industry. By taking a look at our customer’s needs and the direction in the market, we came to the conclusion that A Business Printing & Promotions needed re-branding. In January of 2012, A Media Marketing was born. Our team was in place to take the company to the next level. While still offering print services, a large percent of our business has shifted to Video Production, Social Media Management & Training and Websites.
Once a quarter we review our plans and goals to ensure we are on track. Our environmental impact is very important to us. Yearly, we review our offices and look for ways to improve energy efficiencies. Listed below are just a few of the measures we have taken to reduce our carbon footprint and positively impact our bottom line.
